it's sour cream, lemon juice, a little bit of garlic, and fresh basil pureed. mayonaise also works.
glad i could help. i was going to say, you could also try making it with greek yoghurt and that would probably make it more authentic....(we just use sour cream)

HELP- Greek spinach salad DRESSING recipe NEEDED!!?
Oooh I don't think I know what recipe that would be.. I'm sorry.. but if you can't find it, here is a DELICIOUS and healthy recipe we eat every time we make Greek salads (which are btw my favorite kind of salads) and it's:

1/3 cup Apple Cidar Vinegar

1/2 (just a little bit more than a 1/2 cup will make it perfect) Hazelnut Oil

And just mix those two ingredients together and serve as the dressing. The purpose of a dressing with Greek Salad is to give it a little bit of a sweet flavor. Greek salads already have a great taste on their own, so just an oil-based dressing is all you need.

Sorry, and I hope you find the recipe you're looking for! :)
