Is there something wrong with me?

I am 14 years old and a girl. i am 5 ft 4 and weigh 100 lbs. i am super skinny and you can see my ribs. here comes the wierd part: i eat 4 meals and four snacks every day. yesterday i ate:



Breakfast:

-mini wheats with 1% milk

-a whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter and raspberry jam

-a glass of tropicana orange juice



Snack 1:

-strawberry kiwi apple sauce

-a pear



Lunch:

-2 bowls of kraft dinner

-peach frozen yogurt

-two glasses of 1% milk



Snack 2:

-a granola bar

-strawberry kiwi applesauce

- some grapes



Dinner:

-Vegatable soup (2 bowls)

-a 6 inch garlic bread thingy (like at east side marios)

-3 glasses of root beer

-angel hair with blush sauce and grilled chicken breast

-panna cotta (italian cream dessert thing with chocolate and raspberry sauce and a wafer)



snack 3:

-peach frozen yogurt milkshake



4th meal:

-greek salad with lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, onions, cucumbers and greek dressing

-orange juice

-3 chocolate chip cookies



snack 4:

-strawberry kiwi applesauce

-a bowl of miniwheats with 1% milk (i like to end my day the same way i start it LOL)

this doesnt seem normal. i eat more than anyone in my family (even my dad) and im still 100 lbs and super skinny. is there something wrong with me.

im going to gues you have a fast metabolism. my friend actually ate nothing but chocolate and junk for 2 weeks and gained nothing at all. don't worry your normal, its just the way you are! i don't know how old you are, but youll mostlikely gain the weight you should have when you were yougner when you get older. your metabolism will slow down.
You just have a high metabolism, for now that is. Especially if you are really active, your metabolism will be really fast. Savor it while you can, as you get older your metabolism naturally slows and eating all that food may catch up to you if you don't change your habits in time.Is there something wrong with me?
100 pounds is a fine weight for your height. you probably have a high metabolism which makes you hungry. and the reason you are so skinny is probably just because youre growing . if you are really concerned, i would go see a docotor, if he or she says there is nothing wrong then youre fine
You probably have a very high metabalism plus everyone is different I will be 14 in a couple of months and i am 5 ft 6 1/2 inches and i weigh 135 it all depends on genetics and exercise
nothing is wrong with you you just have a very good metabolism and it does'nt seem like you eat any junk food, its all pretty healthy.
I'm 13, 98, and eat even more than you do... I have really high metabolism... i can eat forever, and i wouldn't become fat. it's not strange. no, there's nothing wrong with you!!!!
you probably just have a very fast metabolic rate - i know 3 people that do it's not so strange - thats why you can eat loads and put on hardly aything. :)
Wow i only dream i can eat that much!!Hmm i think i just gained a pnd dreamin!! ha ..Its `Normal`for you, you have a high metabolism... SO watch out when you get older it slows way down!!!
I eat a little bit more than that, I'm 14, and weigh like 92 lbs o.O and about the same height as you. No idea though, sorry %26gt;.%26lt;.

It's just that you have a fast metabolism. Plus, at your age, you'll be at the point where you'll probably be eating the most at that time than you ever will at another age in your life. Also, if you're an active person, you'll continue to burn the calories as soon as you eat them.



When I was about 13, I ate a TON. I didn't gain any weight, and I had to stomach of like an elephant :P by the time I was about 14.5 it died down and I only ate a regular amount. You're probably just going through a stage, I'm sure it will pass :)

Believe it or not, you eat like someone who is trying to loose weight. It's not so much how much you eat as what you eat, i.e. snacking often, light and generally healthy snacks, hardly any dairy or protein. If you want to gain weight I would say try adding more protein to your diet from beans, tofu or some other healthy source. I would also suggest weight training to tone and build muscle.

OR you could have a digestive problem like tapeworm or something. I would talk to your Dr. and ask them what they think. I knew a girl who ate like a truck driver and stayed supper skinny and people tortured her by always saying she was an anorexic. A lot of people will be envious of your problem because it sounds like " don't hate me because I am beautiful." Just hang in there and do some real research and you may find a solution. Good luck.
It's possibly a genetic thing. Someone in your family could have been like this when they were your age. You're not on a balanced diet though. Try eating more healthy things and not just glasses upon glasses of soda. Your body will be taking in the wrong nutrients if you keep eating many sweets so just try do balance your diet. I suggest that you see a nutritionist or doctor to find a diet for you and see if there is actually something wrong with your body.
This is something to ask your doctor. Many health problems could cause this, including hyperthyroidism or diabetes or intestinal parasites like tapeworm.

However if you get regular check ups and have no other symptoms, you are probably just using a lot of energy. Maybe you have a fast metabolism or you are very active, or maybe your body is using energy to still grow or something. IF you had a health problem , your doctor would find it by examining you. next time you go in for something else, mention it to him. You are probably fine, but its something to ask the doctor when he can look you over. Ok? If you lose even more weight and drop into your 90s you should definitely make an appointment, just to be sure.
i would'nt worry about putting weight on.Some people never put weight on ,no matter what they eat.Besides what you have eaten,seems like its for someone who is trying to keep the weight off.Also you use 1% milk which has no cream in,very thin milk.So you don't eat potatoes or other bread than what you mentioned.Also apple pie and a big scoop of ice cream is good too.Perhaps your Mom should be serving meals that will fill you up so you don't want to eat so often.
