i had the cake because i haven't had a treat in a while and i was hungry for one.

It's not really about what you eat in one day, but what you eat in a week. See you could eat really well for a couple of days, or even five, but as soon as the weekend comes, you may blow it all by eating the wrong food and drinking far too much alcohol.
Ok, firstly you need to cut out all soft drink, sweets (yes that includes slithers of cakes,) trans fat contained products etc.
Then you need to swap around your carb and protein times.
See carbohydrates take a longer time to digest, so if your body hasn't processed all the carbs you've eaten at dinner time it'll just store to fat, and most importantly drink plenty of water.
Water is great becasue it works by flushing the body and also by providing minerals etc. You need to be drinking atleast 2lites (half a gallon of water per day.) This will help you fill up as well, hence you won;t need to eat as much.
Only limit yourself to one Special K bar a day (if you have to) as the contain a lot of sugar and a full of carbohydrates, so having it as you morning snack with a piece of fruit is a great start.
Towards the late afternoon/ evening up eat a small ammount of meat for protein followed by a huge serve of vegtables.

You will need essential cholesterol from some meat products, but as long as you arent eating that way everyday you will be fine! add some chicken to a sald or fettucini and you will be fine!
That is fine, but you should have the lettuce...get the greeniest you can find (ie. romaine or baby spinach), as you need fiber. You should be drinking water with everything too.
Are you cutting out fish and chicken or was this just todays menu?
it looks to me like you have a very controlled diet and especially if you can keep track of everything you ate and when you ate. in my opinion i think instead of cake i am assuming it is one with chocolate, you could incorporate a little more fruit in your diet or maybe a fruit salad. wait a second i jumped to a conclusion you do have fruit in the morning. i think you are a trained expert in diet and maybe you are testing us.

It contains high fructose corn syrup. That makes you hungry when you're full, and makes the calories you eat go straight to fat. Smart ones are OK, but south beach, kashi, and healthy choice are often healthier, and more filling.
if your hungry for cake, that means you were having a craving. when you give into cravings, you will get more, until you constantly want cake. never give into cravings. work more breads into your diet, maybe 2 slices of toast for snack rather than a sp. k bar. when you get bad cravings, drink some water, or low calorie fruit juice.
Are you trying to lose weight?
Frozen dinners, even diet ones, often have a lot of carbs try grilled or baked fish or chicken.
skip the special K bars. they are just simple carbs and are not great for you. instead snack on some veggies or cottage chz.
and you need a mlittle more protein. try ck on your salads or some fish!

Great food is one of the finner things in life, don't deprive yourself just b/c you want to look a certain way.
Actually I think that's a very healthy regiment. As long as you don't go around having that slice of cake every day you should be fine, however I recommend adding some kind of meat product to help your iron along.
Thats seriously a great diet.
if you do this every day, work out... if you also work out, like cardio workouts, then eat more fiber and grains like rice or bread. Other than that i will have to tell you to eat more stuff that fills you up, but your doing really great for yourself
looks like you're concerned about your weight; this eating scheldule is tough! if there's anything you NEED to do, eat more yummie treats! (not too much). you're going to be eating food for the rest of your life! why not enjoy it??
wow what an awesome diet! everything you ate is good but here's some advice. Make sure not to go to heavily on the dressing, if you load it up like most people do then you just ruined your diet. Here's a website that tell you good foods and bad foods to eat when your on a diet. this way you aren't stuck just eating salads all year
if you do that every day u would be so healthy!!!! and so skiny!!!!!! if not already
