What is the healthiest dressing for a salad? What is the least healthiest?
Also, what's your favorite salad dressing? What all do you put in your salad? I just put feta cheese and olives sometimes.
How many times have I used the word "salad" in this question lol.Vinaigrette salad dressing vs regular salad dressing?
Yes, Vinaigrette's are healthier then regular salad dressings. They are made (95% of them) with olive oil, which is one of the healthier oils, spices and herbs, and of course vinegar.
Least healthiest salad dressing? Not sure of that one, I would guess Ranch, Thousand Island, and the thicker ones like them.
My favorite one would be a home made vinaigrette with a brown mustard base.
What all do I put in my salad? Lettuce, tomato, onion, radishes, celery, green bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, cucumber, cheese, boiled eggs, and some times I add fresh fruit. (I don't usually add all these ingredients to one salad, I mix them up. These are just ingredients I keep on hand for my salads.)
And I also counted the word 'salad' 9 times in your post.
technically speaking, a Vinaigrette is a salad dressing consisting of a mixture of vinegar (or sometimes citrus juice) and oil, often flavored with herbs, spices, and other ingredients. so it is possible that you are indeed consuming the exact same dressing that you love so much...
My personal favorite dressing depends on which salad I am eating...
Wedge = Blue Cheese
Side = Ranch
Chef = See Wedge
Cobb = See Wedge
Carrot = Slaw dressing
Spinach = Bacon drippings
Tuna = Mayonnaise + Salt + Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
Chicken = See Tuna
Egg = See Tuna
Potato = Mayonnaise + Red Onion + Pickle Relish
and you used the word "Salad" in your question 9 times!!!Vinaigrette salad dressing vs regular salad dressing?
