Are Greek Chicken Salads Messing Up My "Diet"?

I'm trying to eat healthier (no mcdonalds, burgers, ect)... stopped drinking alcohol AND started working out. I'm not a salad person, but I found this little greek restaurant nearby that has the BEST chicken salad ever!!! It's the chicken that spins around the big stick... Anyways, it's got some sort of oil based dressing, pita bread, and feta cheese. It's amazing. But, I'm scared it's too good to be true! So, is it? I've eaten it like 3 times in the last week. (must have some addictive thing in it) ;) So what's the deal? Is it going to make me fat, or is it healthy? Are Greek Chicken Salads Messing Up My "Diet"?
sounds like the only high fat items on this salad are the chicken, dressing and the cheese.

The only thing you really need to be wary of is how much cheese and oil-based dressing.

I've known people that are trying to eat healthy, but they douse their salad with a half cup of ranch dressing or thousand island... which was defeating the purpose of eating salad.

If you're confident that everything is proportioned properly, then it sounds like you're on the right track. Overall, you are on the right track and being conscientious.

Good Luck!
Your salad sounds good. Remember the key is portion control. You might want to ask for your dressing on the side.

Also if you have had it three times in a week. Weigh yourself and see how you are doing. Are Greek Chicken Salads Messing Up My "Diet"?
I suppose the oil based dressing could do that. If salads are your thing you might check out a new E-book cookbook entitled Randy's Famous Let Me Teach You How Kitchen Cookbook. I got the first volume at www.shoppersmilz.bravehost.com. It covers all manner of salads and a whole lot more. It only cost me 3.99 and was well worth it. I can't wait for the next volumes and the guy has a great sense of humor to boot. I am told it is also listed in e-bay for the same price. Good luck and hope you stay healthy.
