I want a Greek salad recipe with pasta and feta cheese. I remember eating it every single day from our high school cafeteria but I forgot what was in it....
All I can remember was it had black olives, fresh tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, cold pasta....and....I can remember. Is there a dressing that goes with it? Cuz I remember it wasn't evident in the salad visually. Maybe olive oil or something....
Help! And Thanks before hand for taking the time to answer.Does anyone have a good greek salad recipe with feta cheese...?
as i am from Greece i can tell you that a greek salad recepie contains fresh tomoatoes, cucumber, onions, feta cheese with origan, olives, salt and the good olive oil is that makes the difference!you are welcome anytime!please dont add lemon!!!!!and not pepper!!!
I do that very same pasta salad except I also add chunks of green pepper. I use "Gazebo Greek Salad Dressing" (found bottled on your regular salad dressing isle in the grocery store.)as the mix in to make it, well...pasta salad.Does anyone have a good greek salad recipe with feta cheese...?
Ingredients:
Tomatoes, onions, bellpepper, cucumber - all diced
fetta cheese diced
Olives
Pasta
Dried oregano
dressing made from Olive oil and lemon juice (take equal parts in a bottle, add salt and pepper, cap the bottle and shake hard)
Add the dressing to the salad just before serving
