Today I had 1574 calories (give or take a few, I'm using my myfitnesspal.com value). I went biking for about 10 minutes, because I have finals to study for. Can you tell me if I had too many calories, or if I did well today?
Here's what I ate:
Breakfast
Pierre Grill Chicken Sandwich- 280 calories, 35 grams carbs, 9 grams fat, 15 grams protein.
Lunch:
Salad with light Italian dressing: 167 calories, 20 grams carbs, 4 grams fat, 3 grams protein
Breyers YoCrunch Yogurt: 200 calories, 35 grams of carbs, 5 grams of fat, 5 grams protein.
Dinner:
Greek Salad with Yasou Greek Salad Dressing, 2 Tbsp- 395 calories, 1 gram carbs, 19 fat, 0 protein
Two Buffalo Chicken tenders, fried: 202 calories, 12 grams carbs, 6 fat, 24 protein
Snacks:
Fiber One bar: 100 calories, 19 grams carb, 3 fat, 1 protein
K20 water mix: 35 calories, 6 carbs, 0 fat, 5 protein
Bagel thin w/ veggie cream cheese: 200 calories, 22 carbs, 9 fat, 5 protein
I went a little bit overboard today-my goal is 1400 calories a day. But did I eat too much?I'm 16 years old, and I'm on a diet. Did I have too many calories today?
No, that is a healthy amount for trying to lose weight. Don't try to eat too little or worry too much about what you are eating, it will just make you binge. You ate pretty healthy but remember it is not necessarily how much you eat but what you eat. If you eat lighter things like fruits, vegetables, lean meat (white chicken, turkey, fish), and healthy fats (if its liquid at room temp. thats a good clue that it is good, no butter or fried foods).
