Is it true Britain is really bad for food?

I heard even though they are right next to continental Europe, they have never heard of basic things like Nicoise or Greek salad, Russian dressing, f mignon, duck confit, Swiss cheese, Osso Bucco, bratwurst, or even sour dough or rye breadsIs it true Britain is really bad for food?
I heard that, too, and sex as well.
yeah...i would say its not all that great when knowing about international cuisineIs it true Britain is really bad for food?
our food is ok some of the worlds top chefs live and work here.
you heard VERY wrong my friend

we are a multicultural cosmopolitan country

there isnt a kind of food you cannot get here

british traditional food may be basic good food, but we eat a huge variety of cultures cuisines because it is so easily available
Britain is bad at everything... EVERYTHING
I know all of those foods (and had most of them) and I'm a 16 year old Brit!

We have lots of different foods and cultures here. It's all fine and dandy. . . apart from the weather sometimes! ;)
i disagree

many of our chefs travel to europe to learn their craft

and all of the dishes you mentioned are widely available and eaten here on a regular basis. and british people now cook a wide variety of dishes because A ingredients are freshly available and also B due to the huge surge in popularity of chefs on tv educating them

yes we have an unbelievable amount of cheap indians etc, but we alsi have a wealth of good basic, rsutic and traditional dishes from all over the world widely available
