Healthy NY Insurance Question for someone who's had it?

I have appled for Healthy NY insurance and am waiting to hear if I get accepted. They requested lots of additional info which i sent them. My question....do they review your income every so often? If so, how often. Oh, and i am self employed and my income will probably go up this year, above their limits, which is why I wonder....Thank you in advance!!Healthy NY Insurance Question for someone who's had it?
Yes, it's every six months.

Apply to Healthy NY- help?

I know I am eligible financially for Healthy NY insurance, but I am not sure how to apply.

The website says I need to apply through the individual insurance company, but there's no real information on how to pick the correct insurance company to work through.

Does anyone have any advice?Apply to Healthy NY- help?
Call a local independent insurance agent. (Even better if it's one you have your car insurance or home insurance with ) and they'll be able to help you apply. You'll need proof of residency and proof of income, for sure. The agent will be able to help you pick which plan suits your needs best. If it's someone you've done business with before, they'll be even more committed to getting you the best deal.Apply to Healthy NY- help?
I do not live in NY, but I still think this is the best advice.

Tomorrow morning (Monday), either call a health insurance agent or your state department of insurance. Either one should be able to tell you.

You can look up your state insurance department below:

  • If my child has Child Health Plus coverage in NY, can I get Healthy NY coverage for myself as an individual?

Or would I have to get joint coverage through Healthy NY even though my income level qualifies my child for Child Health Plus coverage? If my child has Child Health Plus coverage in NY, can I get Healthy NY coverage for myself as an individual?
You'll have to apply to find out. The income level for CHILDREN'S health insurance is higher than for adults.
If you meet the income guidelines, you should qualify for Family Health Plus. Here is a link:

Legally you could be able to do that. Here is my source: http://www.myhealth-forum.com/

Best website to buy cheap airline tickets last minute?

last minute internnational airfares deals from IndiaBest website to buy cheap airline tickets last minute?
People - AGAIN we tell you the same thing over and over and over again !

FROM INDIA or anywhere else OTHER than North America, you MUST go to a travel agent in your country ie India to get the best deals. The travel websites only work for fares in USA, Canada, and some European destinations because they have published fares. In India the travel agents hold all the information that the travel websites peopl recommend here do NOT show.
In July and august, last minute flights are usually rather expensive since it is a peak season.

Try Lastminute.com or Travelocity: they usually offer the cheapest deals anyway.

You find lastminute, Travelocity and other booking sites such as Expedia here : http://www.willgoto.com/1/023798/liens.a鈥?/a>

There is thousands of online website which provide travel deals, information and guide from India to worldwide destination.

Please brief your question. Where you want to fly from India????????
For Europe and US, there are a lot of websites offering this service. For India, I don't know any. You may, anyway, try to check which are all the cheap airlines flying from India on http://www.lowcostroutes.com/en/flights_鈥?/a> and then check their website.
check out www.imaginedeals.com they have the best deals - if you sign up as preferred customer - which is free %26amp; quick - there is no booking free on the flights

    good luck
When I shopped the major websites, I got the best deal at Expedia.com

Worth it to hire a travel agent?

I am planning a destination wedding for June 2009. When we started planning, I checked flights for the same week this year, and they were less than $500 round trip. Now they're approaching $700, and I'm getting concerned that my family will be in debt from attending our wedding!

I know that airlines are upping their prices due to fuel costs, and I have always been pretty good at shopping around for good airfare deals. However, would it be worthwhile to work with a travel agent to try to get a better deal? (and would it cost more than the difference in the price of airfare??).

How far in advance should you start working with an agent if you hire one?Worth it to hire a travel agent?
I would definitely work with a travel agent, but one that specializes in destination weddings. They are going to be very helpful. I would start working with one about 1 year ahead of time.

Sometimes it is cheaper to purchase the flight, hotel and wedding vendors separately sometimes it is cheaper to buy a package. A good travel agent will be able to help negotiate all of this.

You do have to consider that it is a financial obligation for your guests for a destination wedding. Not everyone will be able to make it. That is just how destination weddings are.

Speak with the people that you feel you just couldn't have your wedding without. Find out what their financial situation is and work from there.

There are many ways to have a destination wedding and if you work with a good destination wedding travel agent you will find you may have many choices that will work for you and your family.

I wish you all the best!Worth it to hire a travel agent?
If your only concern is airfare, I would not hire a travel agent. You cannot really get cheaper fares from one. Airlines no longer give an agent a commission, so you have to pay her, plus they don't have access to much better info than you have.

Use your smarts on the internet. Keep an eye on fares - and keep in mind that discounting does not happen this far out (for June 2009).

That said, airfares are ONLY going up, thanks to the cost of fossil fuels. It would be unrealistic to think that there will not be a big jump in airfare prices in the next year.

    Good Cheap Hotels In Hawaii?

What is the name of the best, high quality hotel that you know of in Waikiki / Kalakawa blvd area that is inexpensive? Hawaii is a great great place to vacation, and its been awhile since I've been there, so I have no idea where to stay. I would love to find another hotel / airfare combo like I had at the Sheraton Waikiki. I stayed a week at the Sheraton for only $89.00! Not per night, but the entire week! And, the airfare was about $600. So the entire package for a weeks stay was only a little over $700! It was great! I don't expect to find deals like that now, but then again, you never know unless you look around.

So, tell me what you know if you have some current pricing for hotels and or airfare deals. Sure, I can search Capt. Kirk's site, but you probably know much more...

    Thanks!Good Cheap Hotels In Hawaii?
In fact, Hawaii is among the most expensive city for traveling. A little over $700 for a weeks stay is really impossible in recent time.

I am happy to list some good hotels in that area. Whether you choose them or not, you have to make a decision by yourself.

You may feel that they are a little bit pricy compared with your former experience. However, the price of these hotels represent the average rate in this area. If you are not satisfied with them, you can consult the http://www.honoluluhotelsadvisor.com/hot鈥?/a> where you may find some more options. The airfare deals can also be found on it. Hope you can get what you want with your budget.
Try Pagoda Hotel.Good Cheap Hotels In Hawaii?
There is no time when a vacation in Hawaii does not sound like a brilliant idea, even though these tiny islands in the Pacific are heavily touristed pretty much year-round. Yes, the top beaches may be crowded, and the price of a night out might make your eyes pop, but you are still going to go. Why? Because there is only one Hawaii on the planet. The good news is that there are ways to save money on your trip, even if you are traveling in the peak season. One of the best ways is to book a cheap hotel in Hawaii so you can spend your leftover accommodation budget on other (more fun) things.
