I use a site that is like a vacuum; it goes out and collects all the deals from ALL the other sites, like Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, etc, and puts them all on one easy to navigate page for you.
http://www.ytbtravel.com/topbrasstravel
I go on yahoo fair chase, they give you the lowest prices out of all the on-line ticket places so you don't have to search under each one.Where online have you gotten the best airfare deals?
I try the sites on iBtraveling.com. It has the ones you mention, plus a bunch of others. Priceline you can bid on a flight...
http://www.kayak.com is a good source for searching prices.
Its all dependent on where you are travelling.....
You can use Kayak.com as stated above
Lastminute.com is another great source
If its Egypt from London - redseaflights.co.uk (go return for less than $500)
If you want Cheap flights and you are heading to a package holiday/ resort style location, even though you are not doing a package you can still sometimes book a flight - and they are generally cheaper.. e.g. Thomspson
Also, look up your departure city 'to' your destination in google or yahoo - it generally brings up airlines you may not have heard of but you can book really cheap flights direct on their websites. I flew to Canada with AirTransat return for $400 from London - bargain!
Good Luck
