Are there certain times/days to check for airfare deals?

I had heard that on certain days after midnight you may find deals on airfare. Is this true and if so does anyone know what days or times?Are there certain times/days to check for airfare deals?
I have not found that to be the case and anyway it is not logical. Airlines release their best prices about ten months prior to departure. After those tickets are sold they make another release at a higher price and so it goes on until a few days before departure you pay the full price.

Yes, that is true. Right around 12:01 am is when they are cheap. It has worked for me (I saw a totally booked flight, but at 12:01 tickets were available).



Try flying on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
