Where do you find the best airfare deals?

going non-stop from ny to arizona from a fri to a fri, how do I get the best airfare deals?Where do you find the best airfare deals?
See if JetBlue has anything. Do make sure you book your flight at least 14 days before your departure date otherwise the ticket price goes up.
Fares vary with departure days/dates.

Checkout the search-booking engines of "CheapOair", "Vayama" and "Airfare.com" (+/- 1 day option).Where do you find the best airfare deals?
Specialized sites (Travelocity, Opodo, Cheapoair, Orbitz,...) that compare instantly airfares from different airlines do not have access to the same data banks. So it is worth visiting more than one site

A selection of those specialised sites are listed in the link below.

As for a round trip to Phoenix from NY, Friday April 24 to Friday May 1, I got the following offers for non stop flights, charge and tax included:

Travelocity :

From Newark 286$ with Continentalor 296$ with US Airways

From JFK 306$ with US Airways or Delta

Cheapoair and Opodo are a bit more expensive for the same flights.

Just for your information : a similar site in French quote only 189$ for the Continental flight
Use www.farecast.com to check the lowest fares. You can break those down by number of stops, times, and airlines too. I also recommend once you find a good flight for you to book directly with the airline's website as you will save extra money.

Tips:
