Excercise and Diet Today? Goodness level?

Excercise: 8:30 am to 9:15 ran 5 miles

Diet: Post run - Water, Apple

30 minutes later: Half a bowl of Greek Salad (Artichokes, baby tomatoes, whole grain pasta, feta cheese, black olives, greek dressing - no clue what kind, my mom made it last night)

11:30: Bowl of Greek Salad, another water

1:45: Half a bowl of greek salad, another water

4:30: Several handfuls of Honey Bunches of Oats

6:00: BLT on whole wheat bread

7:00: Roughly two regular spoonfuls of some kind ziti pasta that some mom made for the beta club meeting, and then a plate of carrots and one spoonful of ranch dressing. Glass of water

8:30: Several handfuls of Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, another bottle of water

Oh, and for all intents and purposes water means 16.9 Oz = )

hahaha,

how did I do? xD

Is this good enough with the amount of exercise I am doing to help me lose more weight? Around how many calories am I consuming/burning? x )Excercise and Diet Today? Goodness level?
Mmm, greek salad, that sounds so good... Anyways, if I were you I would get some more protein. I ate a diet like this before, and lost a lot of weight, but then realized I didn't have any muscle. Protein helps protect what muscle you have while you lose fat. If you lose fat and muscle at the same rate you won't actually lower your body fat %. Five miles in 45 minutes is pretty good, your cardiovascular healthy sounds pretty good. Perhaps you can go after more of a challenge and throw in occasional body weight exercises such as squats and push ups. Anyways, what you are doing right now does sound like it will cause you to lose "weight." I don't think it will help you have a better body, but it will probably lower the number on the scale.
