I eat almonds, pecans and peanuts everyday without fail because of the protein. I also eat Greek yogurt every other day. It's expensive so I try to ration it out. I don't like buying bagged apples. I like purchasing the individual ginormous Golden Delicious apples and Red Delicious apples.
The reason being is that I can actually touch the apple to make sure it's firm and that it's not rotting or moldy. Mostly I like eating black beans, Mexican corn and rice mixed together. I could eat this forever and never tire of it. I normally eat whole wheat with peanut butter and jelly. I love salads with ginger dressing but if you don't eat salads everyday ( I don't ) it's a waste of money buying a mixed bag of salad.Do you eat some type of fruit, nut, grain, or vegetable everyday or at least once a week?
Beans because of the protein and I love the way they taste; Especially the flavor it gives to salads.
I have one or two avocados every day. I also include tomatoes and cucumbers into my diet every day.
I always seem to have hot sauce on any carbs I eat, so that would be my pick as well.
When buying salad, if you buy the lettuce and fixings and make your own salad instead of buying the bag the salad will last longer in your fridge. The bagged variety seem to go bad within a couple of days of opening.

Yeah:D Everyday I eat usually an apple, but on occasion strawberries,blueberries or kiwis. Also for breakfast, I either have cereal or oatmeal. For lunch, I ALWAYS have peanut butter and jelly. You can't go wrong with that classic!

Absolutely for the fruit, grain, and vegetables. Nuts about every other day. I鈥檓 a huge pecan fan. I like greek yogurt too and have that a couple times a week. I like the drinkable yogurts too for the mornings.
Does your grocery store have a salad bar? Then, you can have a salad on the days you go to the store. You save because you pay for the weight of the salad and there鈥檚 no waste. We also buy a lot of frozen veggies, they鈥檙e cheap at walmart, ready in 5 minutes and all the veggies were picked at the peak of harvest. Sometimes frozen is better for you than fresh produce that has travelled a long distance and has been sitting on the grocery shelves for days.
