im a teen vegetarian trying to gain a little weight if possible but we didnt have much food in the house soo today i had
Breakfast: 1 cup plain cheerios with 1 cup skim milk and a pear (the pear is from my pear tree so is very small
Snack: a small bowl of plain greek yogurt with like only a few blueberries and some agave nectar
Lunch: sandwich on whole grain bread with spreadable laghing cow light cheese, lettuce, and cucumbers (i usually put tofu on it for protien but we had none) and a bowl of brocolli
Snack: what should i have? toast with pb? some almonds? carnation intant breakfast? those are someof the thing i usually eat
Dinner: i'll probably have some veggie meatballs with an ear of corn and some salad with some dressing on it
ik i didnt have quite enough protien, what else should i eat? did i have too many carbs due to the lack of protien?This a healthy day so far?
I don't know if this diet will help you put on weight. It sounds like a diet to lose weight of you ask me. Try some avocados. Eat more nuts and peanut butter. For protein, also try beans and quinoa.
You did pretty good! Be proud. If I were you, I would take a vitamin everyday (like flinstones) and for a snack, eat some nuts! Peanuts have fat in them so they could help you gain weight. Eggs and fish also have protein. You can also have milk and beans for more protein.This a healthy day so far?
Not only is it not enough nutrition-wise, it sounds bleak and tasteless. Switch the Cheerios for something better like Kashi. The skim milk sounds disgusting. Silk has more nutrients than skim milk and none of the bluss.
Protein. Add some protein!!!
You poor malnourished little child, get a few buffalo wings or steaks to spice up your meals
