Is it normal for your thighs to become fatter while on your period?

I am trying to slim my thighs and two days later I started my period. I gained a lot of "junk" on my thighs. I do not get it! I exercised like crazy (tredmill) and I rode my bike on steep hills and when I got my period they were all flappy. And I am not eating anything bad or anything, no junk food, a lot of water, fruit, vegetables, high fiber, etc.

Heres what I have been eating for the past couple of days:

I cup of fiber one cereal

a couple of melons and 1/2 a turkey sandwhich with a slice of pepper jack cheese, with just a couple of drops of mustard, on whole grain bread

Salad with cherry tomatoes, greek dressing, snacked on fiber 1 cereal grains with it and had a cup of 100 calorie progressive soup

this was today

Am I gaining water weight on my thighs?

Because I worked my azz off this week and even though I am a size 4 I want to go back to my natural size (2). My body looses weight really easily and I am wondering I only am getting flabby in the thighs because I am on my period. My mother says so. Thanks=)

Oh and I am a normal weight of 104 and the scale said....106Is it normal for your thighs to become fatter while on your period?
Your diet sounds like it is pretty meager, I'm not sure you are getting enough calories. The exercise you are doing is great, but I would add a work-out with weights, that will really tone your legs up fast. Also check the soup...how much sodium is in it? And the Greek dressing...did you make it yourself, or is it from a bottle? If purchased, check the sodium content in that. When you have your period you retain water anyway, and combined with sodium you may be experiencing a lot of bloat. Oh...I just say your additional details...watermelon contains a lot of water...this combined with all the other stuff is probably what happened. I wouldn't stress.
