In the morning, i eat a medium sized apple. (around 8:30) then i go to track for and hour and a half. then at 12:00 i eat 2 cups of salad and 2 tbsp of Greek dressing (the dressing is 100 cal for every 2 tbsp) and around 6:00 i eat a turkey and lettuce sandwich on 2 pieces of wheat bread. can someone tell me if this is okay? at the end of the day, im not hungry....oh yea and im 13 and a girl. how many calories is this? thanksIs this healthy? or is it bad? plz help!?
Thats not too bad.
This works out to barely 600cals a day not nearly enough. and if you do track (running/jogging) every day then you are immediately using up the little you have consumed,
Add some protein to your breakfast an egg boiled/poached, and maybe throw in another small meal. up your pulses and grains (eg brown rice)Is this healthy? or is it bad? plz help!?
wheres the protein, no whole grain? you need way more calories for a active growing girls, but in some ways i doubt you dont snack like crazy and not notice inbetween meals
HORRIBLY unhealthy. You're starving yourself.
It's not that the food is unhealthy, it's all good. (Though you aren't getting much variety if you eat exactly the same thing every day, and you need variety.)
You need to eat an actual breakfast. One apple is NOT enough.
Stop measuring and calorie-counting. All that does is feed into food obsession, and can lead to eating disorders (which you seem on the way to already).
You aren't getting enough protein. Go look up eating recommendations (if you search on "Food Pyramid" you can find them).
Notice that they say you should eat SEVERAL servings of fruit every day, AND several servings of veggies every day, AND more than one serving of protein every day.
You are not eating enough. You aren't getting enough nurishment, variety, or quantity.
When you try to lose weight super-fast, the moment you go off, you'll start gaining, and you'll end up gaining back TWICE what you lost within two years. Do NOT do it that way.
Really.
You're growing, so you need calcium and protein. Heck, you're not getting any calcium at all. Do you want to have bones so brittle that bumping into a wall will break half your bones?
When you don't eat enough protein, your body consumes your own muscle tissue.
Don't limit QUANTITY of what you eat; limit how much FAT you eat.
